Panels

With Broadcast Suite, you can create webbased control- or monitoring panels to display the status of any configured trigger and control any action.

The panels are optimized for touchscreen based devices and support the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Panel Editor

After creating a panel you can open the editor by selecting "Panel Editor" in the context menu of the element. This editor allows to create multiple panel pages with drag and drop.

Panel Editor

You can add elements to your panel by dragging them to the canvas. After you have selected an element, you can change its parameters in the settings manager. It can be opened by clicking on the gear icon on the right.

Layout

The panels use a grid system with unlimited rows of up to 12 columns each. To build the layout, the editor provides the following basic layout elements:

  • 1 Column
  • 2 Columns
  • 3 Columns
  • 4 Columns
  • 6 Columns
  • 2 Columns 1:3
  • 2 Columns 3:1

Button

Buttons support both triggers and actions. Triggers are used for the button status/color, the button press is translated to an action.

Parameter Description
Default Color Default button color
Status 1-3 Trigger name
Color Button color when the corresponding trigger is active
Blink Enable blink
On Press Action executed when the button is pressed
On Press Value Value set when the button is pressed
On Release Action executed when the button is released
On Release Value Value set when the button is released
Long Press Action Action executed when the button is long-pressed
Long Press Value Value set when the button is long-pressed
Delay time (ms) Delay for long-press in milliseconds
Momentary Latch If enabled, button uses momentary latch
Use Unlock If enabled, the button can only be used with an unlock button
Log Log all executed actions to the DB. Enabled by default.

Clock

The clock element displays a digital clock. There are no specific settings for this element.

Fader

Parameter Description
Trigger Trigger for the current fader status
Action Action executed when the fader has been moved
Min Minimum fader value (default is 0)
Max Maximum fader value (default is 255)
Log Log all executed actions to the DB. Disabled by default.

Label

Parameter Description
Trigger If set, the current value of the selected trigger is used as label text.

Image

You can change the image by double-clicking the placeholder image.

Unlock

Parameter Description
Color Default button color
Unlock Duration (ms) Unlock duration in milliseconds

Page Switch

Parameter Description
Color Default button color
Page Index Index of page which is shown after a button press
